Free Food Nutrition and Calorie Calculator

Would you like to be able to use a free calculator to quickly and easily determine the nutritional benefit and calories in the foods you eat; to calculate how much of the recommended daily allowance and different food groups you have eaten?

Here's a simple way to determine whether you are eating healthful meals or lots of empty calories?

This is very useful if you have been too busy to keep track of what you have been eating, and may suspect that it is not a balanced and healty diet.  It's also useful if you have been trying to keep track of what you eat, but are sick and tired of  writing down and adding up grams or percentages of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, calories, etc.

Here's a FREE nifty program that lets you enter the foods you eat by name (and in many cases by brand name) as well as portion size.  It then calculates how your total daily intake compares with official governmental guidelines for healthy living.  It also calculates for you the total number of calories, percentage of fat, vitamins, and minerals, etc. that you have consumed.

It's easy, once you get the hang of it, and can help you and your family eat a more balanced diet and live a longer and  more healthful life.  Don't wait - get started TODAY!  Here are more details.

After entering everything that you have eaten on a given day, the program first calculates how many portions of each major food group you have consumed, and how this compares with national nutritional guidelines.  These groups include: grain, vegetables, fruits, milk, and meat.

Next it calculates how your consumption matches guidelines for total fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, sodium, and variety.

Finally, it calculates how your intake of each of the items listed in the table to the left compares with the government's recommended daily allowances.
