Dangers of Airline Food - How to Eat Healthy While Flying -
Avoiding High Fat, High Calorie, and High Sodium Airline Meals

Airline food can be very unhealthy. Many contain far more fat and calories and sodium than the worst fast food restaurant meals. But you, the traveler, generally can't tell which airline are the most unhealthy.

Because two-thirds of Americans are concerned about getting  healthy, high-quality food that is high in nutritional value and low in cholesterol and fat, ASH has compiled information and links about the dangers of airline foods, which meals are the most unhealthy (by meal type as well as by airline), and what passengers can do to protect their own health and the health of their families while flying.

Some experts recommend ordering special meals, but you still have to know which ones are available, and which ones are healthiest for you.  That's why this special page was created

As a public service, Action on Smoking and Health (ASH), a 36-year old legal-action charitable organization entirely supported by tax-deductible contributions, has put together all of this valuable information.
